Jaguar Transport Reaches Agreement to Operate Oklahoma Central Rail Park

EL RENO, Okla., November 11, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Jaguar Transport Holdings has entered into an agreement with Haskell Lemon Construction to operate the Oklahoma Central Rail Park (OKCRP) at El Reno, okay. This 200-acre facility just west of Oklahoma City will be fully operational on January 1, 2022.

Within two miles of I-40, OKCRP connects to the Union Pacific Railroad and is equipped with unit train capacity, two transfer tracks, weighbridges, ten 2,000 pound silos , a large outdoor storage space and a convertible area.

OKCRP provides rail service to customers who wish to take advantage of the efficient use of rail but do not have a physical site located on a rail line. When fully operational, this facility will be able to process a variety of products including, but not limited to, agriculture, petroleum products, fracking sand, lumber, aggregates , bulk products, etc.

More recently, the OKCRP was operated by Halliburton; it was built to discharge the sand used for hydraulic fracturing throughout the Anadarko Bowl. Jaguar plans to use existing infrastructure and, if necessary, build new infrastructure to meet unique customer needs.

OKCRP is the third fleet operation for Jaguar, which has partnered with OPTrust, one of the from Canada the largest pension plans. Other Jaguar facilities include the West Memphis Transload at West Memphis, AR and the Marion industrial railway park in Marion, OH.
