EAM Jaishankar and US Senator Schumer among key leaders to address USISPF summit

Washington DC [US], September 29 (ANI): Indian Ministers S Jaishankar, Piyush Goyal, Jyotiraditya Scindia, among others, are expected to address virtually the fourth annual Leadership Summit of the Strategic Partnership Forum between the United States and India (USISPF), which is due to start on Wednesday.
USISPF is hosting its fourth annual Leadership Summit from September 29 to October 1, titled “Looking Ahead: Building Resilience, Expanding Prosperity”.
In accordance with the agenda of the summit, there will be various strategic discussions between
USISPF Board Members, Ministers and Senior Officials from India and the United States, and Fortune 500 CEOs for three days.
From India, Cabinet ministers expected to be on the program include External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar; Minister of Textiles, Trade and Industry Piyush Goyal; Minister of Education, Minister of Civil Aviation Jyotiraditya Scindia; Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Youth and Sports Anurag Thakur; Minister of Education Dharmendra Pradhan and Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology Rajeev Chandrasekhar.
From America, Senator Chuck Schumer, Majority Leader, United States Senate; Samantha Power, Administrator, United States Agency for International Development; and Kurt Campbell, Deputy Assistant to the President and Coordinator of Indi-Pacific Affairs, National Security Council, among others.
In accordance with the summit agenda,
The USISPF will honor Natarajan Chandrasekaran, Executive Chairman of Tata Sons, Punit Renjen, CEO of Deloitte Global, and Rajesh Subramaniam, President, COO and Director, FedEx Corp. USISPF Global Leadership Award 2021 Thursday for leading the business community in their heroic efforts to respond to the second wave of Covid-19 in India.
Various senior Indian officials are also expected to address the meeting, including Amitabh Kant, CEO of NITI Aayog, Rita Teaotia, President of FSSAI, Ambassador Taranjit Sandhu, Ambassador of India to the United States.

Strategic Partnership Forum between the United States and India (USISPF) is a non-profit organization, whose main objective is to strengthen the bilateral and strategic partnership between India and the United States through political advocacy in the areas of economic growth, l entrepreneurship, job creation and innovation.
